Prior to partnering in Real Retail, Maria Royer was the managing broker/partner of the Seattle office for Blatteis Realty Co. Maria opened the Seattle office of Blatteis Realty Company, Inc. in May of 1999 and has over 20 years of diverse commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Blatteis, Maria was an Associate Broker for Terranomics Retail Services in Seattle for several years. While at Terranomics, Maria developed a strong base of tenant and landlord relationships. Maria exclusively represents over ¾ of a million square feet of urban mixed-use centers and new community and lifestyle centers in the greater Seattle area including notable projects such as Kent Station in Kent, Washington, The Vitamilk Green Lake Redevelopment in Seattle, Ballard Blocks, The High Streets in Issaquah, The Meridian and Second + Pine in downtown Seattle. Maria’s present and past experience is also comprised of facilitating several specialty retailers and restaurants in their expansion strategies in the Pacific Northwest including: AMC Theaters, Trader Joe’s, Sephora, Morton’s, The Limited, Abercrombie & Fitch, Disney, PF Chang’s, and Rock Bottom Brewery.

Maria offers her clients a broad base of experience in disciplines ranging from development, sales and leasing, to asset management and finance. While working at Wright Runstad & Company, one of downtown Seattle’s largest property owners and one of the region’s premiere institutional development companies, Maria’s various positions included property management and operations as well as the retail leasing of Wright Runstad’s downtown retail properties. Prior to joining Wright Runstad & Company in 1993, Maria was a Sales & Marketing Associate with Colliers - The Seeley Company in Los Angeles for eight years specializing in commercial property leasing and sales. As a consistent producer for Colliers’ South Bay Office, Maria’s clients included The Koll Company, John Hancock Realty and Copley Realty Advisors.

While earning a degree in Business Administration, with a dual emphasis in Finance & Marketing at the University of Southern California, Maria worked as a retail sales associate at Ann Taylor and also had an advertising and marketing internship at New World Pictures in Los Angeles. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Downtown Seattle Association (DSA), and a past member of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women (NNCREW).

Brynn brings over a decade of retail and restaurant leasing and lending experience to her position as the retail brokerage tenant representation specialist at Real Retail. She developed her real estate and retail leasing skills while working in the Seattle offices of Blatteis Realty Company and CB Richard Ellis. Prior to that, she was a loan officer and banker broker at Seattle Mortgage Company, a privately-held commercial and residential lender. She also served as corporate relocation manager for Windermere Real Estate—the largest residential real estate company in the Puget Sound—and was Director of Sales for the Pacific Guest Suites and the West Coast Plaza Park Suites in downtown Seattle.

Her landlord client list includes The High Streets at Issaquah Highlands, Equity Office Properties’ Pacific Northwest retail portfolio, Avalon Holdings, and targeted urban neighborhood developments. The current tenants she represents exclusively, either locally or nationally, include The Ram Restaurant & Brewery, Purple Café and Wine Bar, Barrio, Sip Wine Bar and Restaurant, Blue C Sushi, AllSaints, Boom Noodle, Johnny Rockets, The Local Vine, Zoka Coffee Roaster & Tea Company, Seattle Sun Tan, New Balance, Kona Grill, Panda Express, Genki Sushi and Zara.

While earning a degree in Business Administration from Washington State University, Brynn attended the Pullman campus and the Hotel & Restaurant Administration extension program at Seattle University, completing the program in 1987. She is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a CCIM candidate and also serves as a volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
